How to reset my password

If you forgot the password you set up when signing up for Koinly, you can easily reset it

If you forgot your password click "Forgot password?" on the login page:

Or follow this link:

Then:

  1. Enter the email you signed up with Koinly and your new password (password you want to use from now on) and click "Verify and Reset"

  2. Check your inbox for an email from Koinly with a one-time code and enter it in the popup:

  3. That's - you can now log in with your new password 🥳

Common issues

I'm not receiving the password reset link

Be sure to:

  • Double-check your email
    Email with a password reset link will only be sent if an account with the email you provided exists. It's possible that you signed up using a different email than the one you entered - sometimes it's best to confirm it by finding an old email sent to you by Koinly and checking to what email address it was sent.

  • Check your spam inbox
    Automated emails like the ones with the password reset link may sometimes be marked as spam by some email providers.

  • Captcha
    Be sure to complete the Captcha on the "Forgot password?" page before continuing. If the captcha puzzle is not completed, email will not be sent.

Can I reset my password if I signed up via Google?

✅ Yes!

If you signed up to Koinly using Google, Apple, or any of our partner logins like Nexo, Kraken, Revolut, etc., you can still reset your password.

After you do, you will now be able to log in using the email and the new password - without using the "Continue with Google" or without having to go through the signup flow on our partner's website again.
