Fake apps & websites – how to spot and report them 🚨
We actively monitor and report fake Koinly apps and websites. If you spot one, reporting it helps us and the app stores take it down faster.
How to spot a fake Koinly app or site
Watch out for any of the following red flags:
❌ Requests for wallet seed phrases or private keys
❌ Requests for payment outside the official Koinly app or website
❌ Poor grammar, misspellings, or slightly incorrect branding
❌ Developer name that isn’t Koinly on the App Store or Google Play
❌ Promises of guaranteed refunds, profits, or “official” support chats
If you noticed any of the above - this is not a real Koinly app/website, it's a scam app created to steal your funds.
