API Sync > API limitations

Some exchanges (or blockchains) do not provide your full transaction history and after syncing the wallet with Koinly, you may see balance errors and missing costs errors.

Incomplete or inaccurate data at source is something Koinly has no control over (we cannot force exchanges to store and provide your complete transaction history) but we try to list all the known limitations of a particular integration when you add it to Koinly.

Where possible, we also include possible workarounds/fixes you can follow.
