Common issues with Crypto.com

Written by Jack

This guide will help you import your Crypto.com App and Crypto.com Exchange transactions into Koinly.

Crypto.com products

The most common problem when importing crypto.com data to Koinly is that crypto.com has multiple distinct products (with similar names and branding) and each should be added to Koinly separately.

The most important thing to do is to figure out which product you used. Here's a brief overview of what each one is:

  1. Crypto.com App
Accessible on crypto.com or its mobile app
Mobile app used on the phone, often connected with a credit card

  2. Crypto.com Exchange
Accessible via crypto.com/exchange or its mobile app
Website usually used on the desktop with more advanced trading option

  3. Crypto.com Onchain Wallet
Mobile app similar to MetaMask, Coinbase Wallet, etc (non-custodial, you own the keys)

  4. Crypto.com's Blockchains
Cronos and Cronos PoS (previously crypto.org chain)

Crypto.com App

Crypto.com's mobile app does not offer an API connection, so you'll need to import your data to Koinly using a CSV.

For detailed steps, check either our in-app instructions or go to (scroll down for instructions for the app):

Crypto.com Exchange:

Crypto.com's Exchange offers both an API and CSV files to export. For details on how to add your transaction history to Koinly, check either our in-app instructions or go to:

Crypto.com Onchain Wallet

  1. There aren't any specific instructions for the DeFi wallet

  2. You add this wallet to Koinly the same way as you add any other non-custodial wallet where you're the one who holds the private keys

  3. Just use the public key ("Receive funds address") of every blockchain/network you used and the corresponding Koinly integration

  4. Most users have used their Crypto.com DeFi wallet with these blockchains:

    1. Cronos chain

    2. Cronos PoS chain

    3. Ethereum

Crypto.com Blockchains

  1. Similar to the Onchain Wallet - there aren't any specific instructions, you add them just like you would any other blockchain you used

  2. Just use the public key ("Receive funds address") with the respective integration

    • Cronos is an EVM chain with a lot of DeFi activity.
Your address will start with 0x****

    • Cronos PoS is where you can stake your CRO tokens.
      Your address starts with cro***
