How do I sign up to become a Koinly Affiliate and get started?
Sign up to Koinly as a standard customer. You can create your account here
Click on your profile icon in the corner and select Refer friends
On this page, you should click on the link at the bottom to join the affiliate program:
You will be asked to review and accepts the terms of the program before continuing
After joining the affiliate program, your profile section will include an Affiliate Panel
Share your tracking link, see your commission earned, and request payouts - all via the Affiliate Panel

How do my Affiliated Customers get tracked?
If a person clicks on your Affiliate link (e.g. https://koinly.io/?via=XXXXX123), signs up to Koinly, and then completes a payment on the Koinly.io website, your commission will be allocated to your account. Your unique Affiliate coupon will add the number of paid conversions and automatically calculate the commission.
Can my Affiliated Customers enter my link as a coupon on the payment page?
No, this is for other discounts. If the Affiliated Customer uses a coupon, then it will reduce the payment amount and therefore the commission that will be received.
What events trigger a commission?
For a sale to generate a commission, a customer (who signed up, via your Affiliate tracking link) must pay for an order on the Koinly website or app.
How can I see what commission is owed or paid?
Commissions generated can be viewed on the Affiliate Panel within your Koinly account
When do I get paid and how are they processed?
You can request a payment when your available balance reaches a minimum of $100 USD. Simply go to your Koinly Profile Affiliate Panel Request Payout to make a request. Please note the following:
Payments can be requested only once every 30 days.
Commissions are locked from cancellation or refund for a period of 30 days from the day they are received.
Payment processing can take up to 30 days from the date of the request
Payments will generally be paid out in USD via PayPal. If you earn over $1000 in payouts then you may also request a payout via bank account. Any currency conversion costs from our providers will be subtracted from the final total received. Please get in touch via [email protected] for more information on setting up bank transfers.
Do I get paid if my Affiliated Customers refer their friends?
You will only get paid a commission if those new customers sign up with your unique Affiliate link and subsequently make a payment
Do I continue to get paid if my Affiliated Customer buys additional plans?
Yes! You will receive a commission on all purchases made by your referrals (unless other arrangements have been made with Koinly's marketing team).
The standard commission rate is 20% for the first purchase and 10% for any additional purchases.
How can I change my payout details?
Within your Account settings, there is an Affiliate section, where you can input new PayPal details. To provide bank account details, please contact [email protected]
What if one of my Affiliated Customers receives a refund?
In the event an Affiliated Customer requests a refund for a transaction for which the Affiliate has earned commissions, any commissions earned on the refund amount will be deducted from the Affiliate’s balance.
How long does the Affiliate agreement last?
It remains active until either it’s canceled manually through the Account Settings or by Koinly's marketing team
Are there any limits to how much I can get paid?
No, the commission is not capped or limited, but a minimum of $100 needs to be reached before you can receive a payment.
Which assets can I use to promote Koinly and how?
We can provide logos, banners, and screen recordings. Creative assets can be found via this link. Further rules around the use of assets can be found in the Affiliate Terms and Conditions.
