They are awarded to partners who meet a range of criteria, including licenses held, the number of active client portfolios, enterprise partner status, and referral performance. These listings are selected by Koinly's team based on overall contribution to the platform and user experience.

We regularly review directory entries and appreciate the continued engagement of all our accounting partners. As part of this process, Featured listings are by selection only and cannot be requested.

Is there a fee to be listed in the directory?

There is no fee to be listed in Koinly’s Global Crypto Accountant Directory.

Country-specific requirements

Who can join Koinly's U.S. accountant directory?

Our U.S. accountant directory is only for professionals who are legally allowed to prepare and file U.S. federal tax returns with the IRS.

You must hold valid U.S. tax credentials to qualify. International credentials alone are not accepted.


Minimum requirements

To be listed, you must hold at least one of the following:

  • Enrolled Agent (EA) licensed by the IRS

  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) licensed in any U.S. state or territory

  • Attorney licensed by a U.S. state bar and authorized to practice before the IRS

  • Tax Preparer with a valid IRS PTIN (Preparer Tax Identification Number)

Note: A PTIN allows you to prepare returns for compensation, but only EAs, CPAs, and attorneys have full representation rights before the IRS.

Credentials not accepted on their own

We do not accept these credentials unless paired with a valid U.S. tax qualification:

  • ICAEW, ACCA, CAANZ, CPA Canada, or other non-U.S. designations

  • Experience in U.S. tax without formal U.S. credentials

  • Business registration only in a foreign country

Our UK directory is only for professionals who are legally allowed to prepare and file UK tax returns with HMRC on behalf of clients.

You must hold a recognised UK tax or accounting qualification and be registered with a relevant UK authority.

Minimum requirements

To be listed, you must meet both of the following:

  • Hold a recognised UK accounting or tax qualification, such as:

    • Chartered Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CA)

    • Chartered Tax Adviser (CTA)

    • AAT Licensed Accountant or Bookkeeper

    • ATT (Association of Taxation Technicians)

Our Canada directory is only for professionals who are legally allowed to prepare and file Canadian tax returns with the CRA on behalf of clients.

You must hold a recognised Canadian accounting designation and be registered to file returns for others.

Minimum requirements

To be listed, you must meet both of the following:

  • Hold a valid Canadian accounting designation, such as:

    • Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA)

    • Registered Tax Preparer with a valid CRA Rep ID

  • Be authorised to act as a representative for clients with the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA)

Credentials not accepted on their own

We do not accept:
